Corrientes Live

Corrientes

Corrientes - "Breathe" first full band studio album :)

We are working on the very first full band studio album called:
Corrientes - "Breathe"
So far, on January 3, 2009, we had a 12 hour recording session and recorded the drums, percussion, and bass for 10 songs!

We recorded 5 songs in English and 5 songs in Spanish.

Gary Settoducato - Drums and percussion
Tom Albano - Bass

**since many of these songs have other versions that have been recorded and included in prior albums, all songs from this album will have the title "Breathe" before each track name. This way people will know right away that the songs are from this full band album.
These are the songs we recorded:

1. Por una sola vez
2. Algo que hacer
3. En la soledad
4. Esta larga distancia
5. No, no, no
6. Methane Mysteries
7. This Ghost
8. Forever And A Day
9. A Child In Your Eyes
10. Future Day

We used a Korg D888 multitrack recorder for this session.
After recording the drum tracks I backed up the tracks into my laptop and then bounced the tracks to 2 tracks to open up some more tracks.

First Tom played bass and Gary played drums while I played guitar and sang a scratch track. I was behind one of the office cubicles and sang softly so that I wouldn't' get picked up too much from the drum mics.

Tom used a Fender 2008 Jazz Bass with stacked knobs and TI Flatwound Strings. He ran it through a Carl Martin 3 Band Parametric EQ direct into the Korg D-888.

EV used a Godin Acousticaster and a Shure Beta SM58, although these were just scratch tracks and will be redone. The info. for the newly recorded tracks will be posted here in this thread as it gets done.
